Voice Description

I have a youthful and friendly speaking voice (American) great for any normal voice over performance, such as tv commercials, radio announcements, narration, on hold messages, voice mail, etc.

I command with inflection as well as utilize a variety of dialects including American (New Englander/Southern), Hispanic, European (British/Scottish/German/Russian).

I am also very fond of creating spontaneous character voices, which are perfect for cartoon voice over, film dubbing, tv and radio.

My Voice Experience

My experience as an actor is rooted in my fortunate experience with life. Life-long exposure to a myriad of different cultures as well as the many amazing people I have befriended have most certainly had an impact on how I treat my craft as an actor and artist.

Before college, I performed in many on-stage dramatic, comedic, improvisational and musical productions; and I have also been a singer and songwriter for many years. More importantly, though, I am constantly inspired by film, cartoons, music, art and pop culture - all of which serve as good fodder for my creative impulse.

I have always aspired to be a voice actor to some degree and now the time has come I give it a real shot and reveal what comes most naturally to me.

I frequently create spontaneous characters that I perform whenever I find an appropriate moment (almost always when in a comfortable setting).

Additional Skills

As a singer, I have developed a broad singing range within a variety of different music styles. My singing voice has been compared to that of Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) and James Mercer (The Shins), but it certainly has its own unique qualities.

I also have a GREAT, albeit quirky, sense of humor - anywhere from the deadpan and sarcastic to the wacky and absurd.
