My Voice Experience
In the past few years, my experience has been mostly with radio commercials, liners, stingers, and id's. From the simple reading of a list of goods and services, to characters and over-the-top "voice of God" styles of voiceover.
My experience really began at a young age however, as I was constatly creating character voices in play among my friends and alone. It continued into middle/high school with on-stage theatre experience, and then into college in speech classes and on-air dj work and radio production.
Toward the end of college, I began freelance radio production for some friends who bought time on a local sports radio network, writing and recording spots for their sponsors as well as producing show intros, promos, and liners. At the same time, I interned with an FM Clear Channel station in production, producing coutless spots and commercials for the production department. This usually involved simply reading their script and choosing music, but eventually led to my writing, voicing, and producing their commercials.
Now done with college, I'm starved for voice work, and have begun producing my own podcasts to fill that void.
My Training

Associates Degree in radio broadcasting (including several semesters of on-air work as a dj, production manager, and program director; speech classes, speech training, media writing, and media law).

Additional Skills
Aside for formal training and practical experience, I have a passion for voice work. It is something I truly enjoy, and enjoy doing right.
I also have a passion for music, film, and pop culture in general. I've been playing drums and guitar for over 10 years and music has always been a big part of my life.
Other jobs I've held include several years in retail including grocery stores, frame shops, craft stores, and coffee shops. I also have worked in the service industry as a waiter.
