Intelligent, Wry, Melodic, Character-Guy Next Door
I have a naturally melodic, baritone voice that ranges from high bass to medium tenor. At my most natural, I come off as affable, intelligent, witty, and can be sing-songy (I've performed in musical theatre over twenty-five years now).
For narrations, I can carry warm and deep to lighter, more forward, and relatable. I can drop to sexier and fun depending on the tone of the piece, and vary my pitch and placement well for late teen/early twenties roles for commercials or lighter copy.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I am confident in several dialects, but prefer to use dialectical work in more character-forward work. I have a strong German, Russian, southern US, cockney, standard British, Scottish brogue, Irish (North and South), and am a quick study on all others.
I am also a very fast study on patter, cadence, and impersonations- from Kermit T. Frog to Apu Nahasapimapetalon, just let me know what you need and I can probably get there.
My Voice Experience
While I don't yet have enough for a reel- I've been doing VO for a while. I have done so much ADR and VO as an actor, it's pretty incredible- at this point in my career, I'm very comfortable in the booth. I have never done this work from home, nor have I pursued a career in voice work professionally, though I have been told by my agents that I should in the past. Joining Voice 1 2 3 is that first step forward.
The hope here is to work, and consistently, as I seem to have without formalizing a career in voice. I've not only done VO/ADR for films, I have written and performed in several plays that required substantial VO and character narration, as well as created copy for a number of radio pieces, from drive time to shock jock.
I have a BA from Wagner College for Musical Theatre, with a minor in English. While attending Wagner, I was required to complete Voice and Diction Intro, I & II classes, with additional dialect classes nearly ever semester.
As one of the few people in the history of my school double cast every semester, I worked on sixteen college pieces, from the musically challenging scores of The Pirates of Penzance and Titanic to 'Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry', a New York City-wide event featuring voice work that I both wrote and performed.
I continue to train vocally, and sing one hell of a Heartbreak Hotel.
My Studio Equipment
None. But I'm working on it.
I'm fun to work with and eager to create. I think that, above many other skills, marks all the difference in the world.
