Voice Description

Although I'm a born mimic, and have excellent voice talents for all accents and voice over work...my normal speaking voice is a natural, smooth, middle-age male, voice-over baritone.

My voice talent ranges from smooth, relaxing narrations, presentations, and audio books...to raspy, fun, high energy for movie trailers, commercials and video-games.

Accents and characters come very easy to me, but my natural, slightly raspy baritone is my strong suit most recently.

My Voice Experience

As well as my voice over work, I'm a professional singer/songwriter by trade. My work as a musician over the last 20 years, has honed my voice talents, and kept them sharp. You don't get a second chance in a live performance. School drama, college radio, and working as a musician got me started as a voice actor.

I've done voice-over on radio and TV commercials, corporate presentations, narrations, audio books and most recently as a freelance interviewer for the 2006- 2007 season of CBS's "Creature Comforts"

My Training

I started doing voices, accents and characters, as soon as I started talking.

I'm an American, but was raised in Australia and travelled the world as a kid. I heard hundreds of accents, so learning and impersonating the fine details became part of my life. I can't hear an an unusual accent, without trying to mimic it, and guess it's origin.

My voice over training came from doing the work, but I give credit to my parents. They insisted that we master our language, and the presentation of it.

I have 25 years of studio recording experience, in the booth as well as the studio.

I can record, engineer and produce any project required. And, deliver a professional, quality product on time. I meet deadlines.

Additional Skills

I'm easy to work with, friendly and prompt. I make deadlines...and I'm open to any project. I work for myself, so I'm always available. I have a 32 track home studio where I record all my music, and my voice-over projects.

Most of of my life has been involved with recording my voice in one form or another, but voice over work just happens to be my favorite.
