My kids love when i tell them stories, i've worked as a telemarketer and strangers on the phone said, " I don't want the product but i just couldn't stop listening to your voice, its so nice." i've also had a lot of success selling mdse. because of my voice. And I have to say I was surprised to hear people tell me things like that through the years, so I decided to try to do some voice overs, since I was getting such positive feedback about my voice.

My Voice Experience

I've worked at tele- mktg. jobs selling estate planning and was the top in my office in Honolulu. I've sold mags, newspapers,commercial time on tv, I've done phone recordings for my exhusband's consulting biz. And mostly i've told stories to kids and adults and made them laugh and cry etc. i've narrated a christmas play and co-wrote it as well, which was done for mentaly challanged young adults in a PA. dorm. As a single mom i have supplemented my income by telemarketing through the years. I can adlib easily. I also like to sing.

I have no formal training. But I have a lot of real life experience in communications and enjoy it very much.

Additional Skills

I am a young 52 yrs old. Irish and come from a long line of storytellers who enjoy entertaining and inspiring friends and family with stories , quotes, encouragement etc. We used to sit around and tell stories as kids and listen to our parents share their stories and sprinkle in some songs here and there just for fun. I enjoy stuff like that myself and enjoy sharing stories and encouragement with others.
It seems i can always inspire friends to keep going just by sharing what I am encouraged about or excited about. I love a good story and love to tell them.
