My Voice Experience

My first professional job I landed right after Thanksgiving. I will be the voice of detective Brayhte (I think thats the way its spelled) on the online video game "Batman the dark knight" due out (I assume when the movie comes out) this Summer. I got the job a week after I auditioned for it. They had brought all the guys in and spent twenty minutes each and got everything how they wanted it so that when they choose the one, it was already completed. I got the call and freaked out! I was so happy! It was really validating as an actor to get "chosen" for your Voice and how you deliver dialogue!

My Training

I have taken two six week courses with Rick Zieff(love him!) as well as a one nite workshop with David Lawrence (love him too!) both were extremely encouraging and helpful. The Batman vo job I got through Rick and the little eight second mp3 (so far thats my reel, but I will have a full reel in the near future) I recieved @ the workshop with David Lawrence.

My Studio Equipment

All I have at this moment is a recently purshased wrap around head mic.

Additional Skills

I also sing Baritone/Tenor. I truly love to act, and all day long I make it a point to try and use my day job in the mailroom at where I work, as a stage to perform! I will do character voices, sing happy B'day and write voice overs just to stay sane and get me through the day!
I literally imagine a camera is on me all day (even in the bathroom I just recite dialogue...no kidding I really do)
