Voice Description

I have a youthful sounding voice but can sound mature, as well. My youthful, fun sound would be right for commercials, games and technical ads.  I have a warm, sensitive sound for documentaries, books on tape or children's movies/books or narration. I have a wide range from young to mature. This mature voice would be appropriate for auto or investment commercials, instructional videos, presentations.  I think both young or mature sounds could work nicely for promos depending what the age range of the audience. I think one of my greatest strengths is that I can show great vulnerability or great strength.I have a great range of Character voices. My voices range from kids to witches, from sex kittens to villians, from hicks to kooky housewives. I am available for animation films and shorts. Also, gaming. Or, if you just want a believable teeenager for a commercial I'm your gal.

My Voice Experience

I've been a professional actor for more than 25 years in Hollywood making my living in T.V. and Film with series regulars and lots of guest leads to my name. Check me out at IMDB(website) if interested in my resume.  I, also, created a role in a new play (at the time) on Broadway in New York called "Accomplice" by Rupert Holmes. My greatest strength as a voiceover artist is my acting ability. I have done voiceover work dubbing in English many Anime films and working on animation projects.

My Training

I have a degree in Theatre at Fullerton College in Southern California. I've studied acting with many private coaches including Gordon Hunt, formally casting director of the Mark Taper Forum and then casting director at Hanna Barbera (Animation Studio).  Studied with David Craig for performance singing, Arthur Joseph for voice. Both in Los Angeles. Studied Animation with Jenny McSwain (formally with Hanna Barbera and now independent casting of Animation in L.A.), Workshop w/Chris Zimmerman and Charlie Adler (Casting director and voice talent in L.A.), Workshops at Cindy Akers (class w/different casting directors weekly, in L.A.), Sue Blu's class (Animation Casting director in L.A.)Kalmansen and Kalmansen(for commercial voiceover), Radio Ranch (Commercial voiceover class)Studio and Equipment class at L.A. Casting Studio by studio professional, Los Angles.

Like I mentioned, my strength is my ability as an actor. Many, many professional years working in the entertainment business in Los Angeles.  I'm also knowledgeable about financing and real estate, if needed for instructional videos or training. Also, knowledgeable about travel and exciting locals.  I'd be right for travel videos or commercials for radio or T.V.
