My Voice Experience

Have you heard Pam's smooth "operator voice" before?

Pam's warm, personable, friendly and authoritative voice has been heard by millions both in the U.S. and abroad since 1993 as Pam has been MCI's English operator voice on products such as 1-800-COLLECT, Calling Cards and Prepaid Cards, and Directory Assistance and more. (Verizon purchased MCI in 2006 and Pam continues to record various operator products such as prepaid cards and more.) Her "operator voice" has been featured in radio and television campaigns and even in the movie, "Big Daddy". Her voice for Directory Assistance has been featured on “The Sopranos”. Pam's voice is heard on MCI's (now Verizon's) "The Neighborhood" Message Center (voice mail) as well as VOIP company SunRocket's voice mail product and SunRocket's customer service / audio on hold.

Before her lengthy experience with Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, Pam was a familiar voice to listeners of four CCM-formatted radio stations in the Baltimore / Washington, D.C. area. For ten years, Pam honed her personable delivery as an afternoon drive announcer, co-host of Musically Speaking, newsreader, and spokesperson. Pam is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Radio, Television & Film.

Pam’s in-home studio with quality audio components offers the capability to record studio-quality work directly to the computer. The digital audio workstation studio allows Pam to upload voice files to her website in order to facilitate client downloads. Secure password protection is available. My Training

Pam has been fortunate to be MCI's English operator voice since 1993 on various telecom products (some of them continue on in Verizon's name since Verizon acquired MCI in 2006) and learn a lot about the unique nature of voice response and audio on hold.

Although Pam's voice can be heard around the world daily through these operator services products such as MCI's/Verizon Business's "The Neighborhood" Message Center (voice mail) and SunRocket's voice mail, Pam's voice is now available in your "neighborhood" via FTP and MP3 from her home studio.

She is also available to record in the Washington, D.C. area (encompassing Maryland and Northern Virginia).
