My Voice Experience

Growing up, my older sister or my father would read to me before bed every night. Both of them were experts at giving each character in the story it's own identity by changing the tones, pitches, and dynamics of their voices. When I learned to read, I aspired to read like them. Eventually I fell in love with it so much that I'd make up voices and story plots when I didn't have a book to read, just so that I could practice speaking in different ways.

I am a singer and have had more than ten years of performance experience in gospel, contemporary and R&B singing.

I have performed speaking and singing roles in school plays including Guys and Dolls, Damn Yankees and the Vagina Monologues.
