My Voice Experience

I discovered my voice during my sophomore year of college. It was then that I auditioned to become a DJ at my school's commercial radio station. Shortly thereafter, I became production manager of the station--one of a handful of commercial college radio stations, mind you. It was then that I'd become courageous enough to venture into radio production, which led me to producing and co-hosting my very own bi-weekly sports radio show. I, that summer, interned with ESPN affiliate CollegeFanz as a broadcaster, producing weekly segments centered around sports at my university. I returned the next year with a stronger voice and a more polished arsenal. I became sports anchor at Newswatch--Ole Miss' student-run newstation, which broadcasts locally on television and worldwide via the web.
