I began experimenting with voice over at a young age doing at-home radio shows with friends and narrating novels and plays in class. My lasting interest in radio drew me to the world of voice over radio commercials performed both in English and in Greek. I've had a chance to play with a variety of scripts and tones from young and fun advertising a night at the club, to every day female supermarket shopper, to a seductive young lady selling perfume.
I've recorded voice overs for short films i've acted in.
I trained at the American Radio Network hosting a 10 minute variety show where i played music, talked about the artists featured and read PSAs.
More recently i recorded 2 company voicemail systems used internationally.
Most of my vocal training stems from my singing classes as a teenager.
I trained in contemporary singing and classical singing as well as Russian classical singing, voice training including Alexander technique as well as speech therapy sessions.
Though i no longer sing, i now use my acquired skills in voice over.
Additionally i take regular advice from friends who own recording studios and post-production studios.
I've also been playing the piano since age 9 and have passed all examinations up to and including grade 8 solo piano under the Trinity Examinations board in the UK.
A partial list of my teachers include:
Christos Kyriakides
Rebecca Trimikliniotou
Jerri Tubbs
Linda Slade
When auditioning and or recording any voice over work, i'm very comfortable with taking direction and find it easy to adapt and collaborate with directors and clients.
