Voice Description

My voice is very flexible. As a singer/actor I have learnt to manipulate my voice so expressing different emotions and feelings comes natural to me. I am a cameleon and work well under direction and on my own. I have been told I have a great voice for cartoon characters also as I tend to put on voices naturally.

English is my native language followed by Urdu/Hindi.

Once I get into character I easily learn to perfect accents I am used to impersonating such as English (cockney/formal), Australian (standard), American(standard/southern-novice), Scottish/Irish (novice) Indian, Middle Eastern (novice).

I can make my voice sexy, deep, warm, girly, fun, angry etc. All I need is direction to what is required and I tend to perform in no time.

My Voice Experience

I have much experience of being behind the mic as being a singer requires that of me often. I have been the voice over on a friends company automated system also, so I feel I can move between the creative and the business with ease.

On the more 9 to 5 part, I have worked as a call centre agent/cust services rep/receptionist etc and have always been a popular choice as talking and communicating comes naturally to me. I guess you can call me quite the chatter box :)

I have been held back in many ways from persuing what I'm good at and feel that now I have the opportunity, I would like to branch out into the world of entertainment.

I feel my voice makes me unique and that theres a space for me out there.

My Training

I have studies Drama and Performing Arts and am at ease in these environments. I've also been singing for 5 years now and have been taken from a band to a solo position as I portrayed a unique voice.

Working also in working industries where communication is key, has helped me progress on my expression and emotion via voice media only.
