modular radio hardware to insure that the new hardware modifications and utilities worked successfully as an integrated component of the Radio. Test hardware consisted of HP signal and analysis equipment. Software composed of HP VEE integrated with the proprietary software from Cottonwood Technology Group, Inc. Wrote test plans and test procedures.
Automated Test Equipment Design Engineer Adaptive Broadband. Feb. 1998 July 2000. Responsible for design, setup and maintenance of computer automated module (black box) level RF test stations, software and written test procedures. Test software written in LabWindows/CVI 5.0.1 and C++. Tests performed on up-converters, down-converters, and high power amplifiers in the
2000 to 14500 MHz range. Wrote test plans using Visio, Word and Excel. Created relational database of test results using VB and Excel. Other duties
included QA testing and detailed reporting and documentation of software for ISO 9001 compliance, and analyzing test results to shorten product test time and improve product yield.
QA Engineer Honeywell Inc. Space Systems Group. Nov. 1997 to Feb. 1998. Contractor. Responsible for compliance with NASA standards in testing the on-board computer for the new International Space Station. Duties included careful analysis of results and detailed reports to NASA officials.
Electronics Test Technician Motorola Inc. Space Systems. May 1996 to October 1997. Contractor. Responsible for module and system level testing on GPS receiver flight hardware. The test sequence at modular level was visual inspection for integrity and parts alignment, basic electrical measurements, digital logic analysis and RF tests, and finally thermal cycle tests. System level tests included computerized satellite simulations, EMI and thermal vacuum tests, FQA, and final acceptance tests. Satellite simulations were accomplished by interfacing the unit under test with a Nortel simulator, and two PCs. The RF portion of the simulation was accomplished by connecting a custom interface RF drawer between the simulator and the UUT. Secret and Special Access clearances.
 Wrote test plans and procedures. Responsible for System Test Equipment calibration and verification test plan. Interfaced with customer during all phases of product development. Created relational database of test results using VB and Excel.
 Previous responsibilities included RF testing and alignment using HP VEE, C++, and worst case analysis QA procedures.
