My Voice Experience

I am an experienced older actress, an excellent sight reader & quick on the mark. With a professional journalism background & wide experience as an interviewer & presenter, I can offer a versatile range of voices from serious, straightforward documentary to character work. A native Liverpudlian, with a warm, light northern voice, I have worked across the board in theatre, film, TV & BBC Radio 4 Drama (adults & children). Recent roles include Ant’s Mum (of Ant and Dec) for a pilot promo, an Italian housewife, Labour MP, dotty grandmother & tart oxford academic.
I've done voice over work for documentaries (eg: Witness: Events of Our Time for 21st Century Film, playing an Israeli, Arab, Rumanian & German) & have a flair for comedy.I have performed stand-up comedy for stage, HTV & a BBC comedy pilot & am an experienced compere.
