Voice Description

With a soothing sound, or a humorous giggle, people often say they would love for me to just read them a story! I have been told my voice is very sexy, even when just answering the phone as a receptionist. (Though, honestly...the body doesn't follow!!) I also can have a very professional slant to my voice, or a fun-loving voice many children love to listen to.
I can develop accents, depending on the need.
I can be Jewish, a New Yorker, a Hollywood success, an English dame, or a gramma reading to her grandbabies. I have diversity in my voice, enhanced by my acting experiences. You ask...I will say it. (Except for foul or inappropriate material. That I will not do.)

My Voice Experience

Life, and 30 years in the performing arts has given me "on the job" experience many may never know. Though not formally trained, I have worked with some of the best in acting, set design and vocal perfomance. I have performed in countless stage shows, Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz, Oliver, for example, performed on the radio,and actually wrote a drama in which I sang, acted and directed, with 3000-4000 people attending.for North Metro FBC, Lawrenceville, Ga. I taught drama for over 15 years in the religious and secular world. Board member for several years for Gwinnett County Seat Players Community Theatre. "To whom much is given, much is required". May I humbly say, I have been given much talent...and pray to use it wisely for His glory!!

My Training

For over 30 years I have been in the acting profession, paid and volunteer. I have developed personal voicemail messages. I am available for voiceover work, voicemail greetings, voice talent, singing messages, as I am a singer as well. I have directed, written and produced some of my own plays and original materials, in which I provided voice services. Though having no degree, I have persued acting classes to further hone my talents. Radio voice, performed Christmas radio special, and sang solo on radio also. Soloist and ensemble singer. Several years on the Board of Gwinnett County Seat Players Theatre, taught drama for over 15 years. Acted and sang in numerous stage plays.thru the years. On the job training is the way I went!

Outgoing, talented and self-motivated. Willing to experiment to formulate and achieve the right mode to present material effectively. Being involved in the performing arts for 30 years, I have gleened experience from some of America's best! I have directed children's plays, and musicals with all age performers. Am a skilled writer...(so I am told), and currently working on authoring a book about my 30 year old son's battle with colon cancer two 1/2 years ago. Set designer, painter, talent in a lot of areas...master of none!! Over and over thru the years people are constantly telling me to pursue voice because, apparently to others, my voice has many facets pleasing to the ear.
