My Voice Experience

I've been using my voice talent my whole life. Ever since i can remember i was listening and imitating people around me. Sometimes, if I'm not careful, I catch myself imitating the person I am speaking to, much to their bewilderment and consternation.
I grew up in a bohemian wonderworld, with an Austrian father and a Jewish American mother who kept us on the go all the time, therefore maximizing my exposure to story-telling from around the world. Sometimes when i close my eyes I hear the voices of some of my international aunties and uncles telling me of their trials and tribulations, in their voices ranging from the deepest rumbling earthquake to the highest bird song.

My Training

I've been acting and singing my whole life. At thirteen I had my first opportunity to speak for someone else, in a puppet show about the amazing elf Emmett.
After that I studied through workshops and classes at every chance I got, in Austria and in California. I had a radio show in college that was done completely in character. I also studied with an emphasis on expressive arts and culture. I currently practice on the harshest critics of all, children, in music classes specifically designed to give them exposure to a variety of sounds and voices.
