My Voice Experience

I have my own production studio in my home. I have an ElectroVoice RE-20 and a DBX 286A processor with the rest of my equipment being Sony. I have about 5 years of experience doing voice work. I've created your average, "run of the mill" commercial spots, humorous spots, and serious ones as well, but each and every one has been top-notch and all of my clientele has agreed.

I worked for KRCU Cape Girardeau, Southeast Public Radio, which is NPR's affiliate, as an announcer for 14 months when I started out. I then went to Withers Broadcasting in Cape Girardeau, where I was midday on-air talent at their CHR station for 15 months. I then went to a small radio station in Dexter, MO-- KDEX. It was a country station, and I was employed there for about 6 months. I then decided to build my own production studio, which has been a long-time dream for me, and here I am! I've also done a lot of voice work for a small but great St. Louis area station, KSLQ. I've done a few voiceovers for a handful of stations throughout the U.S. I love doing voiceovers! It's what I live for!

I'm very talented, and I strive to create the highest-quality of voice work.

My Training

I majored in Mass Comm at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. While there, I worked at the campus NPR affiliate, KRCU as an announcer. I learned how to use the industry standard equipment and by the time I left, I had become quite adept at all things radio. When I went to Withers Broadcasting, I further learned how to do commercial radio production--and did it very well. I learned how to "act" on the mic, write copy, be very creative, and how to give clients what they want and need. I guess that is why they made me production director after just 8 months. Just after I started working for Withers, I installed Cool Edit Pro, then Adobe Audition on my home computer. I found myself doing more and more audio production and editing at home. I have done on hold messages, messages for voice mail, voice over jobs, and much more. I then decided to buy some new equipment, including a wonderful mic, a great processor, a new computer, and all the other bells and whistles that go with a production studio. Since I have all this nice equipment, and I turn out the very BEST in voice over creativity, I would love to offer you my voice over services!
