My Voice Experience

I have been passionate about wanting to enter into the voice acting since 2002. However, the 4th quarter of 2007 was when I decided to start at the bottom. My most recent experience has been on YouTube among the amateur voice acting community auditioning for various fan projects. I have been most noted for my wide variations of anime-like voices, which have allowed me to be cast for a few lead roles. I have also done voice work for a Flash presentation for the digital media firm I am employed by, and am currently hired for a low-budget animation reel project.

My Training

My training is self-taught. I have molded and practiced variations of my voice for as long as I can remember. That involves watching other American and Japanese voice actors & actresses in order to model my own personal style that I have been using and stuck with.

I have attended a few informal seminars/panels that featured one or more voice actors/actresses in order to learn what they know and apply that to my own ability.

I also have eight years of formal experience under a director singing in a public setting, solo and with groups, both choral and acappella. My great ear for music enables me to do my own audio mixing as well.

Additional Skills

I can sing, act, and have confident control of my pitch and tone. I can pick up on different sorts of voices and attitudes very quickly, nearly mimicing characters.

I am an anime fanatic. If you can show me a picture of a character, I can tell you in a minute what type of voice/emotion is necessary for him/her and whether or not I can create one that is fitting.

I am a perfectionist, and OCD when it comes to my voice-over work and singing. If you want someone who is going to put 100% into any role and make sure it is edited/mixed in a professional manner, that someone would be me.
