Voice Description

My voice is vary soothing and easy to listen to. When people hear me sing they say they could listen to a whole CD through from beginning to end for how pleasent my voice is to the ear. I think I would do wonderfully with anything having to do with children (Chidrens' books, comercials, Childrens' cartoons or movies, etc.) I also feel I would do well with professional recordings for the corporate world and/or for mainstream ads, presentations, etc.

My Voice Experience

I narrated a home reference manual on a DVD put out by La Jolla Pacific Home Builders. The DVD was designed as a video companion to their homebuyer manual. The manual covered various maintenance tasks and simple repairs that homeowners should know. I covered verbatum the 150pg home mantinence manual. I was the sole voice over of the DVD and my voice accompanied the video demonstations of each of the chapters.

I narrated a three minute comedy claymation short film, "A Forest Tale"(Comparable to a children's short story).

My Training

- I have taken college courses in basic Sound Editing and Sound Recording and am familiar with the process of sound recording.

- I have 3 years experience coaching vocals and assistant directing childrens' musical theater productions.
- I have recorded and performed songs I myself have written, as well as recorded and performed songs my brother has written.
- I was the "resident singer" at Dolce Vita Italian Restaurante and sang three hour sets, 2-3 nights/week for two years (2006-2008).

I am a romantic at heart and I have an adventurous spirit. I love to write poetry and turn the words into songs, playing with tone and alliteration. I teach preschool and have a very well practiced oral reading voice and can capture an audience using appropriate timing, tone and inflection.
