Voice Description
My voice has rich timbers and a slight nasal tone. My vocal training as a classical singer allows me the ability to change the tone of my voice at will.
When narrating, I am able to maintain a full, rich tone. I am capable of doing excellent computer-style voice-overs. I can also speak smoothly, professionally for presentations.
I can perform southern accents very well.

My Voice Experience
Remember the "blue-light special" announcer at K-Mart? Well if you are from Midlothian, VA you may have heard me in 1994-5.
During that period, I won first and second place awards for my poetry and prose readings on my forensics team on the regional and state levels also in the late 90's.
As a classically trained singer, earning my degree in voice in 2000, from Virginia State University I have also:
Performed with 6 vocal ensembles in central Virginia and as an actor in the "VSU Performers".
Employed as a private voice instructor at G Clef Studio in Richmond, VA in 2002.
Employed as a music teacher in Henrico, VA until 2002.
I recorded several demos with aspiring artists between 2000-2003.
Employed at Mannes College of Music in New York City from 2002-2005.
In 2005 I joined the staff of MENC: Music Educators National Conference as an advocate for music in schools.
In my current employment at George Mason University, I regularly record voice mails and present before large groups.
My raw, natural talent make me a terrific choice for a voice-over.
My Training
As a classically trained singer, earning my degree in voice, I have taken college coursework in public speaking, presenting and vocal pedagogy (teaching others to use their voice).
Much of my experience as an actress, singer and public speaker makes me a natural voice over talent.
I am currently working on Masters coursework which includes courses in Marketing and Communications areas.
