Voice Description
My voice can be silky smooth, like warm butter. I can also insert some perky-cheerleader hype or sound as authoritative and well spoken as the first female President of the USA would. I can also pull off the voice of a person who needs relief from a chest cold.
Southern accents are a flair of mine, from the "Well I've Never" of the Southern Belle to the yee-haw of Queen of the Rodeo.
I also sing and hum well and with the right song can sound a little like LeeAnn Rimes.

My Voice Experience
I've been working on my voices for years and have been told several times that I could make a serious living as a "telephone actress". I am studying Communications and Radio Broadcasting at a middle Tennessee college, where I have recorded several voice overs for this college, becoming somewhat known as the Voice of VSCC. Those commercials have aired on several radio stations and on NBC television in Nashville.
I have also been the Voice of the Ohio Reads program, which was estabilished to promote interest in reading for all ages.
My Training
I started my training non-professionally when I was a child, reading some of my favorite books into my little tape recorder so I could listen to them while doing chores.
From there, I grew up a little more and began taking speech classes, partaking in middle and high school theater as well as in the community.
I've been working on the radio for about 5 years now, both college and professional and would love to expand my horizon's.
