I am an American English voice talent. During my audio book voice narrations, I have made my voice slightly versatile depending on the subject matter. For the humanities, bright and smoothly narrative; for more technical subjects, calm and clearly explanatory. I am always certain to use my voice articulately and confidently. For my most recent project, a multimedia training program for CAD, I've received feedback that my narration was clear, calm, sexy and even perfect; overall, very motivating.

My Voice Experience

I have executed the voice narration for 3 humanities textbooks for the successful Stockholm, Sweden voice talent company, Voice Professional. (From April 2007-September 2007)
I have most recently completed the entire 16 recorded hours of narration for a CAD multimedia training course called The IronCAD Essentials with my current employer, Softeacher International. (From June 2007-February 2008)

My Training

I have always enjoyed and participated in singing groups, such as school choruses and extracurricular projects. I have even recorded and produced 2 songs. I also did a bit of acting in high school musicals, involving performing both recited lines as well as singing. Plus, I have always been an avid, enthusiastic public speaker, taking a Public Speaking and Drama course my senior year of high school and reciting my own poetry in front of small to medium crowds.

My Studio Equipment

At my current office I record with the i-Sound WMV mp3 Recorder and JJ Labs Sweden Microphone with a TASCAM US-122L sound card device. I use Camtasia Studio daily to do video and audio project editing, synchronization and creation. I also have a bit of experience removing noise from audio files with the Audacity program and some song production work with Cubase.

Additional Skills

Formally, I have a Master's Degree from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure. I have been a teacher of the English language in a small, private college in Beijing, China, and also a private English language tutor for young school children here in Stockholm, Sweden.
I have held such diverse jobs in sales and public relations, museum exhibition work, library cataloging and recycling assistance in a social nonprofit organization in Pittsburgh called Global Links.
I'm a very friendly, smart and eager personality who's quick to learn and extremely efficient and thorough. I'm also an ideas person and an effective problem solver.
