I have a Southern accent, an English accent, and Standard American Accent. My English can be referred to as harsh and sarcastic. My Southern is my natural accent so it can be use just about any way imaginable.
My Voice Experience
When I moved to LA, people just wanted me to talk. They would say to me "I don't care what you say, just say something". The guys would be like "aw man", and the girls would just giggle. Shortly after I started taking acting classes my coach said that I should seriously consider voice over work. The photographer that took my headshots also brought up the same topic. The more I thought about it, the more I realized they might have a point. I didn't really notice my voice when I was back home. I knew it was unique but it was just normal for me. I am for the most part a quiet, keep to myself kind of guy. The thing I did notice was that when I did speak, everyone listened.
My Training
The only training I have had is with my acting coach Elisa Elliot and a voice coach Bob Corff.
My Studio Equipment
My acting coach recommended the Sony Sound Forge software and a Blue Snowball Microphone.
Additional Skills
I am a non smoker who knows a little about a lot. I am able to speak on a wide range of topics, anything from sports to medical.
