Voice Description

When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was as much theater as I could... Musicals especially. What I thought was a hobby turned into what I wanted for my life, so I went to Drama School. That is where I discovered that I could be a Voice Actor. I have been lucky enough to do this for 12 years so far, playing lots of children, bratty teenagers and furry animals. I sound young, but I've been working with a more mature sound as well. I have a lot of energy, I love to giggle and perfect my comic timing. Most of my work has been in video games and toys- lots of action (Tales of Monkey Island), tantrums (The Sims 2 and The Sims 3), and I can hear other people's thoughts... (Psychonauts).

I can do a bit of a general posh English accent and make variations on the dialect with a bit of practice. Brooklyn, Southern (the trashy over characterized kind), and Valley Girl. I have been in The Sims since 2003 and have improvised Simlish for a long time. I may be a little crazy, and I'm really thankful for that!

I use my MacBook to record- the software I use is Adobe Soundbooth. Saffire pre-amp, Rode NT 1000 microphone, and my beautiful Shure Headphones, that help me feel extra cool.

Additional Skills

I love to sing... Mezzo, Belter. Broadway is my favorite stuff. Singing in character is one of my favorite things to do. Improvising with real words and made-up ones too, fighting, screaming, temper tantrums. I've died a few times in video games. I would love to do some Anime- one of my goals for 2011! Drama/Comedy, I love it all.
