My Voice Experience

As a VO artist, I've had to run the gamut from cartoon characters in children's television (Between the Lions, PBS) to commercials like national and regional TV spots for Vonage. I've also been active radio production and promos with spots for NASCAR and Sirius Satellite radio.

My Training

I've received a bachelor's degree from NYU in Music Technology and have been training with New York based Voiceover coach, Peter Rofe. In addition, I'm an experienced post production audio engineer having learned much of the voiceover trade from the other side of the glass in the recording studio.

Pro Tools HD. Neumann U87, Sennheiser 416 shotgun, and other various large diaphragm condensor microphones. Digidesign ICON console. Vintage Neve, Focusrite, Summit, UREI, dbx, and other analog gear. Genelec 5.1 monitoring. Industrial Acoustics sound booth. Ability to record in sync to picture with a video monitor in the sound booth. Ability to directly layback sound to picture with tie lines to large video facilities' machine room (Digibeta, various HD decks). Located in the Chelsea area in Manhattan.

Additional Skills

In addition to Voiceover, I'm also an experienced post production audio engineer. I've mixed television shows for emmy award winning shows on PBS and the Discovery Channel. I've also been active in TV commercials mixing spots for Victoria's Secret, American Express, Major League Baseball, Mountain Dew, and others. I recently received a Grammy award in the "Spoken Word for Children" category for my work on the Marlo Thomas record, "Thanks and Giving All Year Long". This record also features some uncredited voice recording done by myself to repair a certain well known celebrity's voice track. In addition to doing voiceovers, as an engineer and producer, I've recorded and / or produced hundreds of voiceovers throughout my career.
