Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Polite and educated British, blustery lower class British, Highland Scottish, "Trainspotting" Scottish, Southern, New Zealand, Australian, French. For voice impressions, I can do characters that are in the vein of Don Knotts, Peter Lorre, Slim Pickins, James Earl Jones, you name it. I enjoy creating a character voice to fit what the director is looking for.
My Voice Experience
My first voiceover job was when I was 7, doing a radio commercial for the Lakes Region in New Hampshire. My career has been in theater and film in NYC, but I have done several character voices for Radiolab, a program on NPR.
My Training
Graduated 2001 from Emerson College with a BFA in Acting. Did vocal training there with Antonio Ocampo-Guzman. Attended the Sedona Shakespeare Institute, where I did vocal work with Deborah Hecht.
I am a writer and actor in NYC, and I sing and play harmonica in The Flanks, a country music band in Brooklyn.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a fully-equipped music studio that is owned by a member in my band, complete with editing software. For simpler projects, I have basic recording and editing equipment in my own apartment.
Additional Skills
Play the harmonica and sing professionally, and am proficient on the accordion, piano, and saw. I've worked in an administrative capacity in NY as well, and am very good at working with computers.
