I try to avoid specific characterizations, although in general I can make for a very believable "surfer dude" or a very over-the-top "old man". I can also perform a semi-believeable Texas accent.
My Voice Experience
I've been doing voice work since I was just a kid, recording hours upon hours of improvised material on cassette tape. I've always had a burning interest in performing, especially with my voice, and have spent years as a vocalist in a band in Erie, where I was born and raised.
I have done narration for promotional videos, voice overs for television commercials, and hours of audiobook readings. I also produce material in-house in a professional studio environment.
My Training
I am a grad student of Broadcast Communications for CSB Pittsburgh.
My Studio Equipment
I have a professional MXL studio mic, Adobe Audition 3.0, Sonar Home Studio 6 and a dual-core PC. I have access to complete audio and video studios at CSB Pittsburgh.
Additional Skills
I have taken theatre and have had some acting experience; I have also performed on-camera as a news anchor and worked as an on-air talent for live productions of a local public broadcasting affiliate.
