Voice Description

My voice is moldable dependent on my mood and need. I speak with an enunciated American accent common to Phoenix, Arizona. I have a wide vocal range comparable to a high tenor to a mid-range bass. Growing up, I read like I speak and can sightread and pick up cues quickly. Should a situation should call for a scratchy tone, a sad mood, or a happy-go-lucky attitude, I can project moods easily. I find it easy to convey emotion and circumstance. I am an experienced musician and that has enabled me to speak for long periods of time without needing a breath in between words or sentences as well as with projecting my voice so a large audience can hear. I have performed a few commercials for KAFF country radio station in Flagstaff, AZ mostly for supermarket advertisements and local events. I work in Orientations and am used to speaking "off-the-cuff" and with repetition.

My Voice Experience

Since I was young I always wanted to record for books on tape or do casting for video games. Lately, friends, coworkers, and strangers were either asking me if I was involved in voice work or, if I wasn't, why not? I only have minimal experience, but I can sell myself and my work confidently and I am ready to dedicate myself fully.

My Training

As a musician, I have had lessons in breath control and projecting sound. I work in employee relations and perform new-hire orientations and am used to projecting for an audience. I role-play with large groups on occasion and always provide my voice talent for the experience.
