Voice Description
My Voice is very deep, with gravely and raspy finish.
I can add a touch of conversational warmth and friendliness for a narration or educational descriptions.
In Portuguese I've been asked to do everything from fun, comedic and friendly commercials as just a guy or the stern structions officer whereas my fiction/video game work tends to be more focused on the seedy bad guys. But I can just as easily play the smooth or sleazy Latin Lover. And a variety of charcaters, from the cranky over the hill criminal to the smooth operator street hustlers of a Grand Theft Auto scenario to a Cartel guy, or a flamboyant international chef and eveything in between.
If you can't get Antonio Banderas, or Javier Bardem refuses to do VO, I'm your guy.

In English a fit the bill for the numerous variations of the Latin characters: Drug Lord, Latin Lover, Zorro, Hustler, Puerto Rican Pimps, Danny Trejo impersonator, East LA Cholo, Scarface, and everything in between. As well as many other Foreign Nationals, The Eastern Block Underworld, RUssian Mobster/enforcer, Italian Mafioso, Middle Eastern Insurgent, Greek Chef, Brazilian Boy Toy...
Accents: Brazilian, South American, Hispanic, Italian, Eastern European, Russian, Middle Eastern, Greek.
My Voice Experience
I've been acting professionaly - as in being a member of the unions and getting paid gigs from mainstream production companies for 6 years now, and have been a performer for another 10. After years of people insisting on complementing me on my voice, and it's qualities before anything was said about my performance I thought I'd give voice over a try.
In taking classes and experimenting with my voice, I found an imense freedom in the fact that my voice and body were no longer self imposed limitations on creating a character, and my range was actually much greater than that of which I was acustomed to.
I'm still in pursuit of an agent to better promote my services, but in the meantime I've found some moderate succes in promoting and selling myself to various video game companies. Haven't worked with EA in their big hit MMA Video game as both a voice over Artist as well as a translator (English to Portuguese) for some of their Brazilian Fighters. I've done some animation webseries. Industrial Promos as Portuguese and have two other Video Games dropping Summer/Fall 2011, one of which I've voice half a dozen characters, having scenes in which I get to carry a conversation and even argu between my different selves.
I look forward to more work as a charcater actor, and my main foucs is character in both video games and animation
My Training
Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication with enphasis on Film Language.
Minor in Film.

My Studio Equipment
I'm not at all knowledgeable about audio engeneering.
I do however have easy access to a full blown studio -Aliso Creek in Burbank California - which is where I work along with a professional sound engeneering expert - William Williams - to record all of my auditions as well as any jobs.
Additional Skills
Both my Portuguese and English fluency are at an academic level, which makes me a pretty darn good translator.
For the last 15 years my main focus has been filmaking and acting.
I'm a writer of plays and film and I can also lend a hand in improving or rewriting - give suggestions only when necessary and asked upon obviously- copy.
Though I can easily deliver narration my main interest is in character where I can bring my whole bag of acting skills to support my voice work.
