I come from a family of talkers and singers, and I went the way of the talkers, on the dramatic tip. And I've favored the stage, the live experience being the thing, until relatively recently in my career. My on-camera life is a varied and always-surprising thing, playing Dads and Doctors and Goofs and Profs. And that life was good.
Then I found my way into booth...and I'm hooked. Applying my skill set in a new and exciting way. I've done commercials, but commercial VO is like archery. Being the Voice of Qdoba was a surprise, but I love their burritos. Pisco Porton was a blast. ELT was an other worlds in of itself. And, audiobook narration--
Wait, something else to know about me: As the old Bill Hicks routine goes, "Looks like we got ourselves a *reader*!:" It's true, self-confessed avid bibliophile. From as far back as I've remembered, I've read fiction and non, histories and speculation, Russian classics, sci fi, fantasy, science fantasy, new trendy books, old forgotten books. And so on. And so on. I could be content doing nothing else but narrating books...but I think I'll keep doing the other things anyway.
My last two books, I think, demonstrate a fair range: "Dead Drunk: Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse One Beer At A Time," by Richard Johnson (for Audible, Inc.), and "The Art of Zen Meditation," by Howard Fast (for Deyan Audible). Zombies to Zen.
The point is: let me do this thing for you.

Aside from what I've mentioned, I'm a teacher. This has varied from being a college lecturer to a teaching artist, teaching acting, mostly acting Shakespeare. I mention this mostly to let you know that I understand the educational process, and, as an actor, the collaborative process. My goal is to make every recording better than the last, on levels both technical and artistic, and to work with you to fulfill your needs.
