My Voice Experience

Trained professionally as a newsreader/anchor for the news channel I worked at, my VO training was conducted by some of the best news voice over artists and anchors in the Indian English news set-up. After two years of doing news/documentary feature type voice overs, I decided to branch out. I began to do voice overs for a production house that created e learning content for clients ranging from car companies to schools. I have recorded educational voice overs for children at the kindergarten level, and e learning voice overs for children to young adults. I have specialized in e learning to date, but I am willing and eager to try new things. Apart from smoothness and modulation, I bring clarity, good diction, pronunciation, a neutral English accent and commitment to my voice-over projects.

Additional Skills

I am a trained broadcast journalist, with four years of experience as a producer/correspondent. I have been an assistant director on a UN documentary film project. I can bring this training to any project I work on, and give inputs on production.

In addition, I am a Cambridge CELTA certified English language trainer. I can provide support to any voice over client, in terms of copy editing facilities. I was also extensively involved in copy editing news scripts and feature show/documentary scripts in my career as a journalist.

I bring clarity, good diction, pronunciation, a neutral English accent and commitment to my voice-over projects.

Apart from all of this, I am a 'thinking' VO artist, eager to meet my clients' expectations and willing to challenge myself to learn and improve. I have certain areas of expertise in doing voice overs and I am willing to challenge myself to go beyond these areas and try and something new.
