My voice has a moderate to deep register. A warm quality is used for book narrations and sexy and temper my voice for presentations. I can give a sing song quality to my voice for spoken word assignments and character types.

I have simulated a young woman's voice and glided into her male counterpart.

My Training

I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in History and Philosophy. I did plays in undergraduate school and was part of the Poetry club ( we performed our works). In the late 70's and early 80's, I was a principal actor in the Berkeley Black Repertory Company.
I produced a one-women show entitled: Variations On The Same Theme. A book of poems by the same name was published.

I am a visual Artist. I work in paper as a collagist with other mixed media forms. I create floral sculptures and wooden door art. I sing tenor in a community choir.
