Voice Description
My voice has a young sound to it. Young as in early twenties. Good for promoting projects like the XGames, or new video games.
Casting directors have also said I have a "very clean" quality to my voice. I am easy to understand and I articulate well. I have also been told that my voice is well suited for technical reads. I have a warm sound to my voice that allows the listener to understand the information and not get bored with what they are hearing.

My Training
For the past year and a half I have been taking classes at Del Mar Media Arts Studios in Irvine, CA. I have taken several classes ranging in their focus. The first couple of classes are devoted to introducing the areas of voiceover. The other classes become more specific in their focus. In the next class we focused on different accents (British, New York, and American Northeastern). We were given different copies of material and we required to be able to read them in the accents we had been learning. The following class was in animation. It was designed to help get out of our "comfort zone" and explore what was possible with our voice. The last class I took was set up for narration (books on tape, technical reads, and infomercials). We traveled to different studios throughout Orange County and worked with different audio engineers on various projects.
