Voice Description

My voice is a 'jack-of-all-trades'. There hasn't been any impersonation I couldn't do without a little practice. My voice is light and comforting with an air of fun all around it. I can darken it to sound passionate or evil, or lighten it to be animated and cute

My voice without alteration is American w/o accent. But the accents I can accomplish are unlimited including English, Southern, New York, Northerner, Canadian, Mexican, Scottish, Irish, German, French, etc. With a little time I could work out any accent.

Impersonations include Gollum, Jack Nicolson, South Park, Skeksis from the Dark Crystal, Beetlejuice, Gremlins, Jack Skellington, Austin Powers, Ewoks, Bill Murray, Captain Jack Sparrow, Peter and Stewie Griffin of Family Guy just to name a few. I have a very good ear for music and can impersonate Axl Rose, David Bowie, Bret Micheals of Poison, Elvis Presley, and lots of various bands from the 80' and 90's. My voice can also sound like many different creatures. I can be cute and fuzzy like a bunny, awkward like a turkey, or fearsome like a pterydactol.

My Voice Experience

I've loved cartoons all of my life. I love their funny antics, colorful worlds, and, of course, their crazy voices. I used to mimic what they did and act out all the funny parts so I could entertain my friends and family; I was kind of a 'ham'. Learning to act and mimic this way lead me to follow theater throughout high school and comical uses of these cartoon voices and impressions are used in my everyday life.

My Training

I attended Atlantic High School and Graduated in 1995. There I studied:

-Improvisational skills
-Voice projection
-Articulation
-Character development
-Script writing
-Public speaking

After high school, I taught with my teacher, Mr. Micheal J.A. Coppola, at The Kravis Center Drama Camp for ages K-12. Teaching skills that I learned while in school.

I volunteered at th Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts in 2000 and took a class with Mike Podopolis, a Center veteran, in puppet creation and characterization.
