My Training

I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While there I studied radio technique for sports play-by-play, voice promos and talk shows. I also studied reporting for television including news anchor duties, script writing and reporting.

For more than a year I worked with a voice over coach, Curt Hawkins, to enhance my skills as a voice over talent. I learned skills in announcing, character development, cold reading, narration, radio promos and on-camera acting.

I also participate in community theater. I have performed in seven local productions in the past four years to keep my acting talents fresh.
