Voice promos for KJHK 90.7 in Lawrence, Kansas
My Training
I graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While there I studied radio technique for sports play-by-play, voice promos and talk shows. I also studied reporting for television including news anchor duties, script writing and reporting.
For the past seven months I have been working closely with a voice over coach to enhance my skills as a voice over talent. I have learned skills in announcing, character development, cold reading, narration, radio promos and on-camera acting.
I also participate in community theater. Currently I am in the production of "You Can't Take It With You" as the G-Man.
