I am an old woman, a young boy, a DJ at a topless emporium, a priest, a toll-both attendant, a reporter and any given animal... Warm and sultry, maniacally insane, Billy Mays (RIP), Christopher Walken, Paul McCartney, Don Knotts and Bob Dylan: you name it and if I cannot do it already, I will learn it.

I come from the Highlands of Scotland, the dark valleys of the Appalachian Mountains, the Big Sky Country of Texas, the crowded urban streets of New York City, London and Paris; I hail from Dublin, Boston, Chicago, Frankfurt and Raleigh, I have the second sight of an Indian Fakir, the breath of a drunk from Iowa, the freshly bathed sheen of a godling from Sweden, the clear-eyed faith of the son of a Floridian Christian snake-handler. And, whoever I am, I usually have a little something to eat around 2 in the afternoon.

My Voice Experience

I am a vocal chameleon, with a long, sticky, accurate tongue... I am and have ever been a sketch comedian, a stand-up comic and an improvisational master. I am a radio personality, have done numerous on-air spots in the DFW/Metro Houston markets, once playing Santa Claus on Christmas Day (KPFT, Houston), live and in character, for an hour and a half, unscripted, while being questioned by an atheist with alopecia universalis.

My Training

I was the producer, writer, director and actor in the long-running (9 years) Sketch Comedy troupe 'The Plumbing Company' in the DFW market. I have been a DJ in the DFW, Houston Metro and Northern Arizona (Prescott) markets. I have written for and starred in live radio theatre in all three markets. I have gotten up in front of roomful of hundreds of people and kept them laughing until I was begged to stop (due to people tinkling on themselves). I attended The University of North Texas (English and Theatre Arts) and somehow, along the way, became a Master Chef, an EMT and a CNA...

Additional Skills

I am not a member of any union yet, although many onions are a part of me. I would like to gain equity to join the club. I am personable, incredibly friendly and outgoing, while being adept at taking direction; I am controllable, yet willing to improvise. When the economy bottomed-out, last Autumn, I was teaching music appreciation to children, which involves a great deal of patience and commitment. I play Guitar, Piano, Drums and Dulcimer and a host of other instruments. If given an opportunity, I see it as a chance to prove myself, to myself. Due to my Faith, and general need to feel as though I am a positive influence, I will not do anything of a seriously 'blue' or gratuitous 'Adult' nature.
