Voice Description
Greetings, Im a 27-year old fluent American English speaker, and I consider myself ideal for: A) FICTIONAL NARRATIONS of many types. Complete 'Audio Books', especially in the solemn genres of horror, dark fantasy, sci-fi, suspense/crime, but I would also be fit for the classics of lit. as well as childrens books {my son is three} and teen fiction. Ive been an avid reader for as long as I can recall, and that fact will smoothly reflect in the shifting moods, situations, and characters I portray in any fictional work. B) NON-FICTION DOCUMENTARIES. My understanding of current and past world events and my love for natural wonders would help you here. C)VIDEO GAME TRAILERS, ADS, AND CHARAC-TERS. Games have exploded into our culture, and as with books, Ive played them from the late 80's to the present day. I understand the concepts and flow, the differing genres, everything. Ive always hoped to play a game characters role, and am fully prepared to act as those both young and old, hero or villain. D) CARTOONS, JAPANESE ANIME, AND FLASH ANIMATION. I can adapt to these type of media as well, I enjoy them all.
E)FILM TRAILERS. For films made by students? I can help you. For films made by Hollywood? I can help you.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
My voice is American in tone. Any various accent from the US:(Californian, Bostonian, New Yorker or Northeastern, Deep Southern, Texan) British dialects ok. For various eccentric characters in stories, though, I can emulate certain odd, comical, or amusing vocal tones.
My Voice Experience
Though this is my first real endeavor into the world of Voice Overs in terms of searching for employment, I have been a dedicated vocalist for a bit over 10 years. While guitar and songwriting have been genuinely enjoyable, teaching myself the art of singing has been one of my great passions and is central to my life. My love for music drove me to become who I am now, one driven with both the experiences of life and the ability to control my breath while singing and speaking.
My Training
To be quite honest, I've taken no particular college course in communications. My classes were focused around Art, my major at the time I attended. But please read on: I've been a big fan of multi-tracking PC programs for 7 years, and have taught myself the fundamentals of recording, mixing, and adjusting for the final result of a decent song (instruments and vocals). The program in which I would consider myself most fluent: FruityLoops, a true source of creative inspiration because of its ease of use and wide range of precise options.
Ive also been a fan of A.M. radio for a few years now, and have memorized certain aspects of this slowly fading media. The production teams use of soundbytes, the 15 to 30-second delay between the hosts words and our radios, the teams adept use of their dump button when a host is a bit vulgar.
Thirdly, but nowhere near least: Ive been inspired over the years by members of my family who have impressed me with their vocal and musical talents. Not only can many of them pull off three part vocal harmonies with ease, but two of my aunts professions allow them to use their vocal gifts each day. Many of my character impersonations are inspired by memories I have of hearing their ad-libs at Thanksgiving.
My Studio Equipment
My band Delabra and I have our own studio space.
Equipment includes:
a-Numerous guitars and amplifiers (many acoustics, Marshall amps, and a huge bass amp)
My main rig is a '00 Fender Strat and Aria Pro RS Straycat which I play using a Boss GT-6 guitar FX pedal through a Crate 4x12 stack amp.
b-An Alesis 8-trk multiFX Mixer/monitor/mothership
c-A Behringer Mixer (down)
d-Two MXL (one vocal, one instrument) and one Behringer (instrument) microphones
e-Four Yamaha Speakers (one 2x12" vertical, one 12" vertical, and two 'live' monitors)
f-Two Apples and one Hewlett Packard PC, the HP is down at the the moment, but it's my usual musical production center.
g-The Boss Micro BR handheld 4-trk is my current yet temporary recording device.
Additional Skills
Five years ago, I wouldnt have signed up for this site. Now, though, I'm driven by a sense of confidence and ability to control this gift that I feel Ive been blessed with. I am fully prepared to use my vocal abilities as both an instrument and helpful tool.
