Voice Description

My day gig is a choir teacher at the middle school level I also moonlight in the local band "Roamer". I play drums. I also study the drums with Dom Famularo.
I have a very wide range of voices. I can do deep and raspy (ie Slash after a bender) I can do high pitch Italian Mobsters ( a wise guy), deep italian mobsters (Sylvio from the sopranos). I can also be warm, and smooth for narratives, educational manuals, books on tape, and even characters for cartoons.

I spent 5 years in Kentucky, so I am able to copy the southern drawl.

I can make my voice sensual for "after hours" or "adult" type voice overs. Insert cheezy Barry White music here.

My Voice Experience

At this time, I am beginning my voice over journey. I would love to be able to say I replaced Don LaFontaine (more affectionately referred to as the "movie voice guy". I am very diverse and I am very easy to work with. I'm looking forward to working with you!

My Training

My training took place through Heather Kay. She is affiliated with Creative Voice Development Group. I am also a singer, guitar player, and drummer ( or shall I say percussionist!)

My Studio Equipment

I do not have my own voice over studio. However, I do have Cakewalk to record music.

Additional Skills

I am a teacher and a singer. I pay special attention to diction. An audience can't connect to a singer if they can't understand him. I also pay close attention to detail. I am aware of where certain phrases pop. Just reading a phrase word for word is one thing, but I feel a voice over actor must bring the words to life. Much like a singer brings notes and words to like to create music.
