Voice Description

Warm. smokey, sensuous, sexy, fun, young, mature, lighthearted and serious ! My voice is my tool so I can fit it to any requirements. I have been known as "the girl with the smile in her voice."
I am currently learning Spanish and have an ear for languages but English is the only one I speak fluently. However I can do most accents you should require.

My Voice Experience

You can currently hear me broadcasting daily, as the primetime live Network Continuity Announcer on ITV1. I've worked here for three years,and in my time have also voiced and launched ITV3, ITV2, ITV4 and Men and Motors. I cut my Announcer teeth at the BBC though where I worked for seven years live on BBC1 and 2, as well as being the voice to launch BBC4- then BBC Knowledge and BBC3 (BBC Choice).

My Training

I have obviously benefited from years of experience in both commercial and non-commercial stations. I was trained by the best at the Beeb and have had plenty of time to hone my trade since then as I have been in the media industry for over 15 years. A skilled script-writer, I have both an English degree and a journalism post-grad ( distinction). The main fact is that I love my job and am good at it !

Additional Skills

As well as all my live TV work- I have voiced CDs, promos, audio-description, in- house airline facilities, adverts, radio and I'm the voice guide on the entire national ITV telephone service.
I also travel profusely and will try anything from ostrich-riding to devil dancing, walking with lions to sliding down volcanoes. I have my motorbike licence and can get anywhere; I am professional, loyal and most importantly -in this voice-over world - have a great sense of humour!!!
