My Voice Experience

I have worked since my very early years using my voice.

As a trained soprano,I have always been identified by "my voice", which I enjoy.

As a young child, one night late, while asleep in my parents office, my mother tells the story of me sleep walking out into the storefront of their business, getting up onto the one of the desks and beginning to sing "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.". I sang the entire song, said thank you, took a bow and went back in and fell asleep,as if nothing had happened.

Well,my mother took that as a sign! I began in voice lessons and the rest is history.

I have been performing since I was ten years old. I have always been a working performer whether it was in music,theater or recording.

I worked my way through high school writing and performing my own shows. I worked my way through college as a performer and spent every summer doing summer stock, and trying to get the "big" break.

In my early years, I found myself married to a recording engineer and by default,I learned the art of recording and producing.

While in that relationship, I recorded three self-produced albums and over a 100 voice over projects as part of the recording studio. I was very fortunate to be able to have that experience in my early career.

I have operated a voice coaching and performance studio for almost 17 years, and I love to teach others how to use their voice properly and I enjoy a challenge of creating the best recording of a project I can.

My Training

Graduate in Theater Arts/Musical Theater Emphasis from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.

I've been a stage actor and solo performer for over 20 years.

From 1990 to 2001 I worked as an in house voice over talent for a local recording Studio, Eastlake Studios, Clearfield,Utah.

I currently own and operated my own vocal performance and coaching studio. I have been teaching since 1990.
