Voice Description
After many years as a primary school teacher I have learnt to be flexible with my voice, particularly while reading children stories. This could be seen as voice-over acting.
I have a deep husky voice which I am able to drop further to make it sexy. I can also be very upbeat so my voice is inviting and exciting, suitable for commercials. I am also able to create a smooth confident voice for professional presentations.
My voice is clear and distinctive and also welcoming.
Character voices can be used particularly when telling stories for children.

My Voice Experience
Once upon a time a girl called Aidran wished upon a star, and this wish she had placed in a beautiful glass jar. Her wish to be the voice. A voice that could sooth, a voice that could stir up emotions, a voice that transported the imaginations of listeners to unknown heights, and scary depths.
She knew her voice was different but what was she to do? How to escape the hum-drum of the kitchen sink, in between the classroom of children?
She would look after her voice, use it wisely when opportunities arose - while teaching, holding seminars, and running workshops.
Then it happened, a chance website, and she saw the light.
With her voice it was time to rejoice!
Gently she removed her wish from the beautiful glass jar and with joy in her heart she threw it far, and in an instance it took off like a bird in flight.
My Training
I had the opportunity to study the art of voice overs on an intensive training course. I was also able to undertake a speaking course at a local college for the purpose of public speaking.
