Voice Description

My voice lends itself well to children's books, fairy tales, commercials, and cartoon characters. For narration, it is warm and caring. I have a valley girl accent naturally, having grown up in Los Angeles, but can shift in and out of various north american dialects. I only speak a bit of spanish, but do understand and read it well. I can also do exagerated English Accents.

My Voice Experience

Once upon a time, there was a girl who wanted to tell stories. Thats how it began. Even as a child I would dress my dolls up- along with my significantly younger siblings- and create mini plays (much to the constant annoyance of my parents who wanted me to be a lawyer).

I have worked in theatre for nearly 15 years now in just about every capacity, and have a cousin who began doing voice work a few years ago. I really enjoy the work he does and hope to establish myself as such. Now all I need is someone to hire me to speak.

My Training

I've trained as an actor for many years along side my production training. BA in Theatre, MFA in Staging Shakespeare... all of these involve intense voice training. I train actors, and have attended and/or taught a myriad of voice workshops.

Additional Skills

I can play the piano, ice skate, am artistic dirctor of a fringe theatre company, am Assistant Box Office Manager of a West End theatre, and am a generally fun and flexible person.
