My Voice Experience

I have performed locally in community showcases, plays, and have worked in an environment where entertainment and the ability to speak to the masses as well as the few was a marketable skill. I have conducted business conversations with French, Spanish, and Italian patrons and have been the point person for international ventures within my sales occupation. I have done IVR/phone system recordings and in a nonprofessional setting have done face to face voice performances, mainly accent or character based. I am extremely versatile and have an adept ear at picking up language, sound, and minute differentials in tone and delivery.

My Training

Bachelor's in Speech Communications w/minor in French. Within my degree I have a specialization with group communication, conflict resolution, and Have an uncanny ability to memorize and mimic sounds and voices, especially dialects/accents and animal intonation). I have also worked in a studio environment to perform and record music and voice tracks, as well as participated in a workshop on multimedia productions and commnuications.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a studio that is outfitted with MAC G4 interface computer, internal and external hard drives, ProTools and Logic audio software, M-Audio firewire interface, Mixer Board (for use with Logic), external preamp, 8" active monitor speakers, U87 quality microphones, cd press, and soundproofed audio recording booth.

Additional Skills

I studied piano (reading, writing and performing) for 5 years, lived in Canada for french studies, and can memorize lines and scripts well. I have taken courses in script and playwriting, and have a passion for writing lyrics, poetry, and short-stories.
