My Voice Experience
My voice is young and I can easily be mistaken for a kid. However its warm tone has the excellent benefits of putting adults and children at ease, conveying conviction and intelligence, and being easy to listen to. As a special education teacher, I have developed the skill to use my voice to say the hardest things in the nicest way. I can deliver difficult news to parents, deliver strong professional inservices, and convey my leadership to students and staff. My voice experience consists of amateur stage drama experience, recording books and curriculum for classroom use, and bringing my own childrens' toys and stories to life. The funniest use of my voice has been to fool telemarketers into thinking they are talking to a child.
