My Voice Experience

I am primarily a commercial voice over actor and you currently can hear me on PBS ("This PBS program was made possible by viewers like you..."). I have done VO work for products ranging from computer systems to jewelry companies. In fact, one time I was the on-camera talent for Lightpath Office Systems. I then was called in to audition for the voiceover for the very same spot because they wanted someone who sounded "just like" me. Imagine my relief when I booked the job.

Additional Skills

I say I came to acting comparatively late in life after many years as a salesperson. However, in many ways getting up in front of a board room and pitching a product convincingly and with sincerity was not so different from getting up in front of a voiceover casting director and, well, pitching a product convincingly and with sincerity. So in a sense I've been training for years. I believe my having been in the business world gives me a good understanding of what clients are looking for as well as a professional work ethic I sometimes don't see in this industry. I have had nice success the relatively short time I've been in the business and hope my "type" continues to be in demand.
