Nadia has voiced for commercials, narrations, books, websites, CD-Rom Programs, promos, animations, and more. She has voiced for Disney, Mc’Donalds, United Way, BB&T Bank, Viva Media, Florida Public Utilities, Houghton Mifflin College Division, Boston Richmond Publishing, McGraw-Hill Modern Languages, Pearson-Prentice Hall, and more!

My Training

Nadia has a wide variety of training and talents. Besides being a professional bilingual voice over talent with 10 years of experience, Nadia is also and actress, improviser, storyteller and puppeteer.

She was born in Bogota, Colombia, where she was part of several theatrical productions, and where she received comprehensive acting training at the renowned “Academia Charlot” in Bogota. In 1999 she moved to the United States, and since then, she has been part of several productions and projects in both English and Spanish. Once in the U.S., Nadia was intrigued by improvisation and decided to join SAK Comedy Lab. There, she learned the art of Improv and was introduced to a new technique. She finished her theater studies at Seminole Community College, home to the distinguished Orlando Theater Project. From there, she went to the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a BA in Theatre and Sociology. Her involvement with the renowned organization, Michelee Puppets, has given Nadia a great knowledge and experience in the art of puppetry. She has performed, directed, and written for this organization.
She has experience with a variety of puppetry styles including Bunraku, Rod Puppets, and Shadow Puppets, and she has participated in several festivals including the Target Family Theater Festival, ArtsFest, and The Orlando Puppet Festival.

Nadia's vast experience in Improv, On-Camera work, Theater, Storytelling and Puppetry give her a wide range of talents that complement her remarkable voice over work.

Improv-Nadia has great improvisational skills. She has been part of local improv troupes, and used her improv abilities in local theme parks, in on-camera work, interactive characters, dinner mystery theaters, press events, voice overs and more.

On-Camera Work-Nadia has appeared on industrials, TV, commercials, web videos, and independent films. She has been part of several televised character interviews, including Walt Disney World press events. She is also a spokesperson for Univision Orlando.

Live Shows- Nadia has also worked in entertainment in the main theme parks in Central Florida including Universal Studios Florida, Walt Disney World, and Sea World. This has provided her with a vast experience in live shows and interactive characters.

Storytelling- Nadia is an amazing storyteller. She especially enjoys telling folk and creation stories, using her voice and body language to create colorful pictures and beautiful images.

Theater-Besides being part of various theatrical productions in her native country, Colombia, Nadia has been part of several local productions in English and Spanish in the Central Flrorida Area. She has participated in several theater festivals including the Orlando International Fringe Festival and the The Orlando Latin American Film & Heritage Festival.

Puppetry- Nadia has a great knowledge and experience in the art of puppetry. She has experience with a variety of puppetry styles including Bunraku, Rod Puppets, and Shadow Puppets. Nadia provides character voices for all her puppets. She has participated in the Orlando Puppet Festival.
