My Voice Experience

My experience comes with many years as a Contracting Officer (specifically construction contracts) for the U.S. Navy. My responsibilities included various type of speaking situations. Responsibilites included opening of bids, chairing bid openings, conducting various types of meetings i.e. bid verification meetings, pre-award and post-award meetings, contractor responsibility meetings, meeting to modify a contract, etc. I worked for the U.S. Navy as a civilian for 33 years before retiring. I sing in a church choir with a soprano voice. Most everone who calls me on the telephone tell me I sound like a little girl or a teenager and really don't believe it is me on the phone. I must admit I do sound very young and am very proud of the way I speak.
