Voice Description

My naturally youthful, energetic and compelling voice is just the starting point. I am a voice chameleon with a very wide range of characterizations from Laid Back and Heartfelt--to Narration and Preachy--to Hard Sell and Drill Sergeant. I can do character voices and accents and if you're doing animation or anime, I'm your guy. My musical training has taught me how to use my voice as an instrument full of emotional dynamics from soft to over-the-top and everything in between.

My Voice Experience

I started a podcast in my car in 2005 that became a full time job and a Sirius Satellite Radio show each weekday during afternoon drive time. During an interview with the late, great Don LaFontaine I joked I'd never have a career in Voice Over but to my surprise he told me I had a great voice and should give it a shot. Starting with some pointers he gave, I began honing my chops and over time and after recording and voice acting in several of my own audiobooks and those of other authors, I gained the confidence to believe I certainly could. Then after being cast as the host of a syndicated TV series, I displayed my V.O. talents on a number of segments we produced for the show and with that, my professional Voice Over career was born.

Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff made a living writing music for television before opportunity knocked and transformed him into a screen/TV writer and later an award-winning and bestselling author featured on "Access Hollywood". A podcast he recorded in his car turned into a drive-time radio show on Sirius five nights a week. This led to a handsome feature in Playboy Magazine that compared Mark to Howard Stern and Jon Stewart.
