Voice Description

I have a rich accent which is the result of a blend of my British English accent (from a former colony), my native Zulu (Ndebele) language from Southern Afrika. I am also fluent in French and Shona, along with other Nguni languages.

By living in America, I have also picked up a somewhat American tinge to it and I have been told that it is pretty unique. My voice can be sexy and fun at the same time and can be smooth and very professional. It is a bold tone with a rich pronunciation and can change from light to serious in an instant.

My Voice Experience

I have done readings and presentations in the past. I performed a reading for a poem I wrote at Goshen College in 1995 and I did an introduction for a play/sketch I put together for chapel while in college, in Hesston, Kansas in 1992.

I got involved in campus activities including a guitar performance on a rendition of Bob Marley's Redemption Song.

My Training

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Computer Science, Art & Design, Sociology) and I am in the third of four semesters of my Cisco Certified Network Administrator.

I took part in many activities that had me speaking in front of a crowd.

My Studio Equipment

I currently have a simple microphone and basic recording equipment, nothing fancy.

Additional Skills

I am an excellent communicator with impeccable English language skills. I speak four languages fluently and I speak a few others in part. I am very multi-cultural and have been exposed to various cultures, people and languages.

At my present job, I have to make presentations on construction projects that we are doing and have to meet clients and hold teleconferences. I am comfortable speaking in front of people or recording. I have a solid voice and have a confident demeanour.
