My Voice Experience
I recorded a voiceover for a documentary called 'Asylum! History of the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building' in which I played Queen Victoria. I was reading extracts from her real diary entries. My director was Samuel Dore and the company was Bursteardrum.
I was in the film 'Copper Silver Gold' in which I played Elizabeth Hockley. We filmed our scenes at Dickens World in Kent but due to loud fans which could not be turned off, we had to record the sound separately. So we did ADR at a later date.
My Training
I trained for three years at ALRA and I graduated in 2009 with a First Class Honours in BA(Hons) Acting.
Whilst at ALRA I was trained in microphone technique, voiceovers and radio drama. We had an intensive 2 week workshop with Gordon House, BBC. We were also taught by Cherry Cookson and Penny Leicester.
My Studio Equipment
I do have a high quality USB condenser microphone but not a proper home studio.
I am very happy to go to a nearby recording studio.
Additional Skills
I have excellent sight reading skills and I learn fast.
I am very professional and hardworking and I am easy to work with.
I bring a lot of positivity and ideas to a project.
